use templates that allow them to develop faster. Consulting companies
have whole databases of FileMaker templates that allow their developers
the ability to quickly create a solution that solves the needs of
their clients. FileMaker Pro is also inherently easy to use, so
even the person who only develops at night or on the weekends can
quickly get up to speed. There are, however, thousands of people
who don't want to learn how to write scripts and calculations. These
are the same people who don't want to change the oil in their car.
If a solution exists, they prefer to use it. In between the extremes
of full-time developer and somebody who uses an out-of-box solution
lie the majority of FileMaker Pro users. They get into Layout mode,
change the way the fields are arranged and maybe add a button or
two. These are the people who will find FMfiles.com to be a treasure
chest.
